County down was once mentioned in The Sunday Times in its list of Best Places To Live and it’s easy to see with places like Tollymore Forest Park for people who want a simple walk through the old woods of Ireland with plenty of grounds to wander and a great campsite to set up in you could spend a day or two or several exploring the area, Bangor Castle Walled Garden with trails well taken care of to a small cafe these walled gardens are a sight to see and will make for a wonderful day out and the site even has a playground so it works well for families. We also have another park being the Crawfordsburn Country Park which is based around a beach and Waterfall with a cafe nearby for anyone who just wants a simple sit down and rest overall a great coastal walk where you have space to explore and even cycle. Finally, there is Castle Ward an 18-century house in two different styles being classical and gothic enjoy several leisure activities on the 820-acre land.
