Staycations are currently booming! UK holidays are on the rise and are continuing to be a popular trend.  It can be difficult to find the right holiday for your family especially if you want to take your dog(s) with you. Nobody wants to leave their beloved pets at home, I know I don’t. Don’t worry PHHPA has you covered. In honour of international dog day, we have picked our favourite ten parks that welcome your furry friends.

 

Holiday Parks

 

Haven Hafan y Mor Holiday Park- North Wales

 

This park has made huge improvements in recent years, including the addition of a large and impressive indoor swimming pool/ splash park and also an adventure village where you can do high ropes. The biggest bonus is that this park is pet friendly! The park has many different natural trails, dog beaches and even a special bark yard (dog park) where your canines can really stretch their legs and enjoy themselves. Not only can your family enjoy the beautiful surroundings, but your furry friends can join in on the adventure!

 

Rockley Park Caravan Holiday Park- Dorset

 

This park is busy and family friendly with an indoor swimming pool, kids club, evening entertainment and lots of facilities including water sports and a rock climbing wall. The park is located near Poole and Bournemouth which both have plenty of attractions that welcome families. Even better, the park will look after your furry friends as well! Dorset has lots of dog friendly attractions including dog walking beaches. So why not take the doggies for a vacation?

 

Woodovis Park- Devon

 

Devon’s Woodovis Park is an excellent holiday park with outstanding reviews, offers good value services for money and has some amazing facilities. The park has an indoor swimming pool, children’s play area, pony and carriage rides, story sessions and circus skills. So unfortunately there is no dog beach although they do have some beautiful scenery on their dog walking trails around the park.

 

Nodes point holiday park- isle of wight

 

This parkdean owned resort is a good family family option that has a variety of different attractions and facilities. It offers an indoor swimming pool, bar (for the grown ups), restaurant, horse riding on the beach in the summer, family activities and beach games. What else? You got it, they are dog friendly as well! The park is in close proximity to St Helen’s beach and Bembridge beach and both allow dogs too.

 

California Cliffs- Norfolk 

 

This park is popular with families so expect lots of families and busyness rather than silence. There is an indoor swimming pool as well as outdoor entertainment including sports court, outdoor swimming, crazy golf and an adventure playground. Your little ones will have days worth of fun available here at California Cliffs. And your fluffy pals as well as they are close to plenty of beaches along the Norfolk coast which are dog friendly and is a short drive to kiss-me-quick hats of great yarmouth.

 

Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park- Bembridge 

 

Whitecliff Bay holiday park on the isle of wight, set in a beautiful location overlooking the beach. Drink in the views with a bite to eat and soak up the sun and some entertainment. This park has a variety of different activities available for people of all ages including, archery, mad science workshops, laser tag and even a fairy and elf academy.
