The PHHPA Position
PHHPA will always: Stand with homeowners. Acknowledge emotional harm without amplifying rage. Separate lived experience from verified facts. Distinguish poor practices from good operators. Investigate issues before taking public positions. We speak for change, not against an industry.
THE PARK HOME SECTOR IS IN CRISIS
Across the UK, park home and holiday park owners are speaking out as unfair practices, aggressive sales tactics, and escalating costs push ordinary people to breaking point. What was sold as affordable living has, for many, become financial entrapment.
OWNERS ARE BEING MIS-SOLD AND TRAPPED
THIS IS NOW A LEGAL AND POLITICAL ISSUE
Not Opinion. Not Exaggeration. Not Isolated.
- Operators being challenged in courts.
- Reported in the national press.
- Raised with regulators and authorities.
- It is now a matter of public record.

PHHPA Action Group
The Official Community of the Park Home and Holiday Park Association
The Park Home and Holiday Park Association (PHHPA) has launched an official Facebook Action Group to give people a place to speak openly, share experiences, and help drive real change across the park home and holiday park sector. This group is part of PHHPA’s wider mission to improve fairness, transparency, and accountability across UK residential parks, holiday parks, caravan parks, and lodge parks.
What Is the PHHPA Action Group?
The PHHPA Action Group is an open Facebook community created to gather real-world experiences, information, and insight from people affected by issues within the park home and holiday park sector. It acts as: A public discussion space. A live information and news channel. A listening post for PHHPA. A way for people to connect, support one another, and be heard. This group helps PHHPA understand what is happening on the ground, in real time, across the UK.
Who Can Join the PHHPA Action Group?
Everyone is welcome. You do not need to be a member of PHHPA to join the Facebook Action Group.
The group is open to: Residential park home owners. Holiday park caravan owners. Leisure park home owners. Holiday lodge owners. Friends and family of park home and holiday home owners. Anyone with knowledge, experience, or concerns about park living or park holidays. If you know someone who owns a park home, caravan, or lodge, you are welcome to join and contribute.
Why the Action Group Matters
Many people affected by park-related issues feel isolated, unheard, or unsure where to turn. The PHHPA Action Group exists to change that. By bringing people together in one place, PHHPA can: Identify recurring issues and patterns. Understand the real impact on individuals and families. Gather evidence and lived experience. Inform media engagement and public discussion. Support policy, legal, and reform activity. This is a listening and learning platform as much as it is a discussion space.
How PHHPA Uses the Action Group
The Park Home and Holiday Park Association (PHHPA) uses the Action Group responsibly and constructively. Information shared in the group helps to: Inform PHHPA’s work with government and regulators. Support media and press engagement. Shape policy and reform priorities. Highlight areas where change is needed. The group does not replace legal advice or formal complaints processes, but it plays an important role in ensuring voices are heard.
Moderation and Community Standards
The PHHPA Action Group is moderated to ensure: Respectful discussion. Lawful and responsible posting. Protection of individuals. A focus on experiences and facts. PHHPA encourages open conversation while maintaining a safe and constructive environment for all participants.
